Good deal. We used to have a meat pole like that at our old farm. Some of my favorite memories as a kid were looking at all the deer hanging on it after opening weekend of gun season. I'd guess you probably can't leave a buck up there very long, in Georgia in October!

I would think just about any travel insurance policy would cover cancelation, etc. I'd probably first check with whoever provides your home/auto insurance. If they don't have an option, you may look into AIG, they have (had?) a trophy big game policy, it covered mounts, trip cancelation...
