That should be good. If the weather hits really hard the deer will be moving to lower elevation further south, but you could catch them moving through. That area isn't know for 180" bucks but heck, there are big bucks hidden all over the state ... so glass hard and you may find one. Recommend...

I assume you mean a Nonresident Rifle Deer tag since there are GMU 4, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th season, Rifle, Private Land, "Either Sex" deer tags ... but only cow tags for elk. Those deer tags are good for a few different areas and GMU 4 is where most of the bucks are taken. This is especially true 4th...

I belong to both, always have. They have different charters and work on different things, and each is effective. Both are worth joining.

If we can't stop them, "What's next" is banning ALL hunting and then taking our weapons ... the anti's are just chipping away little by littte until they get there.

Probably due in part to the reduced number of tags available during the primary draw in some areas, especially the Northwest corner of the state, due to the severe winter a year and a half ago.
