One thing to consider also is the amount of bait your placing now. Less is more, put to much in there's way more they can eat so there's no urgency for them to get to the bait. The good thing with the rain is it'll sour the acorns, so they won't be eating them by Tuesday

Looks like there's 3 bears there. Sow with a 2 year old cub, either would be legal with the 42“ requirement. The third is a boar, looks like a 3 year old around 200#. Good luck Marcus!

Hard to tell without a closer picture, but looks like 2 boars. 1 appears to be a year older than the other, I'd guess biggest is around 200, smaller is 150's. Either one is a shooter in my book especially for a first one!

If you can start baiting right before first light for a few days before season, they'll be hitting it during light.

Bears can sit around a site for hours before they hit it. Your camera is only catching a small piece of what's going on around your bait. One thing I would do is bait early in the day, preferably right before sun up. This gives the bear a little urgency to hit the bait before someone else does...

He made 2 great shots. Double lunged the first shot, she looked pretty sick but just stood her ground so he hit her again and took her between the heart and lungs with the second and he tipped her over where she stood. Ringing steel all summer long sure helps!
