Definately more flattened and ejector marks but not horrible. My guess is if you shoot it cold it wont be an issue for first round or two.

Have you tried a completely cold bore shot? And does it still do it then? I've seen guns that will get hard bolt lifts after a few shots when everything warms up. If that's the case and it's a huntin rig, I'd definitely not be afraid to just hunt with it. Also I'd be careful with lube on case...

That line is more than likely just from plunger on the ejector pushing your bullet against your action before it gets to the ejection port. That's totally normal. I guess you can check that potential problem off the list.

I was actually meaning the bullets themselves being loaded longer in a unfired case. If you chamber a live round after you color the bullet then look at the bullet itself to see if you can see if rifling made contact with bullet. Other wise you could always just get a bigger bolt handle😉

Do the Winchester bullets appear to be seated out longer than the Remington. Maybe your barrel has a short throat. Bullets touching or jamming into lands increases pressure drastically. Maybe try using a sharpie on the win bullet and chamber a round and see if you can see rifling marks. I...

Over pressure causes hard bolt lift. Tell tale sign of pressure on reloads but it does seem odd from factory ammo. How do primers look and do you see ejector marks on cases?
