My Dad owned a duck hunting club in California and they were his. They are pretty old and a little worn out, that's why they are in the garage.

The skull got broken and I have the other side, just havn't put it back together. It's on the drawer unit next to the coffee pot.

Lol!... ok was just wondering if you used something in particular that worked well. I was thinking about using a skull hooker??? I'll probably take down one of my Euros first to see what it looks like with a bear hide hanging from it. Thanks for the reply.

I once had someone walk in our house and as soon as she turned the corner and saw the mounts they just left. So I guess you are a smart man

I use this for my skulls. I cut those boards to resemble the outline of the state of Montana and then I just bent these brackets and put a bunch of electrical tape around the end of them to create kind of a ball and so far it has worked great. I suppose it would work well for the nose of the bear hide as well.

It kinda sucks to take ‘em down but it makes sense while we’re trying to sell the house.
I really want to leave my sheep up though... It’s my favorite.

That’s a cool idea cutting the wood into the shape of your state ... very nice!
I’d steal that idea but cutting a background into the shape of Colorado wouldn’t really but all that interesting ...

When we were trying to sell our last house, we had some negative feedback regarding the number of dead animal heads on our walls. When my wife asked if we should take some down, I said ‘no way’. I didn’t want some anti hunting a-hole to own the house we had made our home for 12 years.

I get it, but we raised our family in that house, as a hunting family, and I built the house by myself. I wanted a like-minded person to buy the house

Good luck selling your house. Hold out for what it’s worth. Home buyers are fickle and petty when looking at houses, but the right buyer will come along
