when dealt with correctly stress is an amazing thing.
I don't know what your local economy is like, but if it like the rest of the US. You should have an easy time finding a good paying occupation. Where I am, there are help wanted signs everywhere.

Yeah theres lots of jobs posted been applying to 2-4 a night. Had 2 interviews one was an open interview for a new store. Trying to keep my head up and not let the stress get me down to much.

But also thinking being home with my young ones wouldn't be all bad either till they hit school age cause daycare is a major cost. But we will see cause I dont want to make it where we got to really pinch pennies just to get by.

I tried several different apps being Runkeeper, Nike, some other no-name fitness app but I found Strava to be the most accurate and most widely used.
It also has a lot more little perks to help keep you motivated when training alone such as different routes and segments set up for time trials for some competition against yourself as well as others. Give a look it might be worth the switch

I asked the physical therapist to put the hurt on me today. no pain no gain. she defiantly put the hurt on me.

I have been using strava for about 5 years. I like it.

Upper body circuit on Monday, HIIT 30 mins yesterday

Nice short and slow recovery run today 3 miles @ 8:15 pace....still amazes me how a 3 mile run at max effort hurts more than 13 through the woods. Like Tim said - no pain no gain.

Long, tough woods run today in preparation for my Ohio Spartan Beast next Saturday.

Currently feeling the 1823’ of vertical climb in my hamstrings haha.

Well I made it through my GoRuck event. Barely. My peraformis? Muscles started killing me about 1.5 miles in. We did 11.7 miles. I have blisters and stone bruises. I'm limping around the house today. I have to figure out how to get these butt muscles working better. Anyway it was a great event and I didn't quit. I was the last guy across the finish line but I got across.

Way to grit it out & finish what you started!!

I usually run the first 3/4 of events with my legs and the last 1/4 with my mind....its a powerful thing.

Try stiff-legged marches to loosen up those glutes.
