Yesterday, I had my final formal PT session. Got 20 minutes on the stationary bike and 20 minutes on the treadmill. After the afternoon gully-washer subsided, got the ceremonial 2-mile walk in.

Today, did the 2-mile gig, and 20 minutes on the bike-to-nowhere.

Studying for requalifcation on Monday, and yes, labeled a few more bolt-racks.

Only about seven miles of walking today. That is what happens when you spend time studying.

Hey Bonecollector - here is a teaser on the Bergara 7RM project. Took a few minutes to install the rail and muzzle brake this afternoon. Rings are here, and scope will be here Wednesday. More photos via PM later.

150 miles on the bike this weekend at 15.2 mph in 90+ degree heat and $3,271 and counting raised to fight multiple sclerosis. A nice fringe benefit is that I'll now be a little more prepared for Wyoming this fall, especially given I was riding into the wind most of the way.

On a side note, anybody ever try that Pickle Juice stuff? I would have almost guaranteed I'd cramp in weather like that and I had some mid ride both days and didn't have any major cramping issues. Can't say for sure, but I think the Pickle Juice worked really well. Anybody have any thoughts on the stuff?

14K steps via 7 miles of walking. Twenty minutes on the stationary bike, and a few hours in the simulator. Only one engine failure, and a relatively small fire. Easy. Requaled.

Put up a basketball hoop for my kids last weekend. At least an hour every night of one on two. No mercy from the old man either! Won't be long and they'll be mopping the floor with me, lol!

Tuesday

Feeling way out of shape in my runing. Been way inconsistent on staying on my 3 runs a week. Got one in tonight after a week and a half off. Ran the first mile 10:20 and the humidity and lack training hit me had to stop and walk for 5 mins. Then had to turn around and run home a mile 11 mins because a storm rolled in.

Trying to stay positive. Been hard lately.

Stay positive, Marcus. Ups and downs are all part of life.

I am only getting eight miles of walking in a day, due in part, with going back to work, etc. Every bit helps though.

Here is a photo that will make you smile. My son spends 10 days every Summer fishing with his grandpa on the northwest side of Vancouver Island. It is good bonding time for both of them, but they are pretty hard on the Springs, eh!
