I drew a unit 49 archery tag. I am excited to get up and start scouting.

Cool deal! I'll be curious as to how you hunt goes, as that's most likely on the docket for me next year. How many points did you have?

Got the email and to my surprise I drew unit 44 muzzle loader with 0 points, one of the few. I had the same tag last year but had to spend 1 point on it.

Now to start the scouting.

I'm going up into Holy Cross for early high country rifle deer

I am in for archery deer and will start scouting soon. Changed some things up left points on the table we will see if it pans - also drew for archery elk. Father drew archery elk, as did 3 other usual suspects - so family archery elk camp is on. My wife did not draw anything yet but got points.. My brother drew archery deer in same unit as I did.

Still a few draws to go but fall is shaping up well.

I drew my 2nd season deer tag. Same area i drew in 2015 when i shot the buck in my avatar. Hoping for another big one like him. I will have way more time before season to scout than i did that year.
