Trying to decide if we need 6 elk tags between the 2 of us. Reduced price cow/calf go on sale in the morning.
If you're referring to 47 then that is false.Alot less left this year then any other year.
What cow tags is everyone interested in?Trying to decide if we need 6 elk tags between the 2 of us. Reduced price cow/calf go on sale in the morning.
Im referring to the leftover list in general. Alot of units that normally have tags are soldout. If you're referring to 47 then that is false.
108 has a lot of private and can be difficult to find animals on public. If you want to pay a fee there is good hunting.Anyone have any intel on ellk unit 37 or elk unit 108. Looking at a cow elk tag as a leftover.
Thx.
Bump. Anybody...?Anyone have any intel on ellk unit 37 or elk unit 108. Looking at a cow elk tag as a leftover.

jerm8352 nailed it for 108... a lot of private. Lots of elk but not easy to catch them on the public land.Bump. Anybody...?
Yikes!Wow! I can't believe how fast the doe antelope tags sold out, they were gone in the first 15 seconds. I ended up buying a type 8 deer tag instead.

Can always go hunt in Colorado...I could not even find a landowner listing for Elk 47 to consider attempting this one though.
Anyone have any intel or listing, feel free to PM me. I really wanted a cow elk tag this year.
Bumming in Ohio...
Love traveling to Wyoming, hunting or not.I've been sitting here on I-80 passing the time scheming.
I could take some of the $$$ I'd be saving on the cow tag and hunt to fund a few days trek to WY with a couple of the kids b4 school starts. We could camp, sightsee, fish, and spend some time scouting antelope unit 22 with some boots on the ground. Maybe also try to visit some ranchers to see about permission/trespass fees for 2017 and beyond?
