X10 along with the D zones have awesome potential just have to work harder than other zones. Probably will require 20 - 35 miles of hiking in a 5 day hunt.

X-10 is my second choice this year. I heard they had a good opening weekend last season. I spoke with DFG who said she signed off on 28 bucks opening weekend. Two were monsters....

I drew X-10 this year, well technically A19, so its archery only in X10, but am itching to get a nice muley. It was a nice surprise to see on my phone after getting back from 4 days scouting cache creek (zone A). Ive read the whole post and have been scouring the internet since I found out yesterday. Anyone with additional information please let me know, and Ill definitely have a write up once I can get out there for scouting!!

I hunted X10 for 5 years in a row (X10, G38 & A19) then decided to try something else the last 2 years because of the drought. Going back to X10 (A19 tag in hand) to see how the weather this year hopefully helped out. Would love to hear how the road conditions and water levels are if anyone plans on scouting. I wont have time to scout this year. Good luck to all going in. Should be a great year.
