Ill bring the thread down a couple notches My best/first and only bull to date.

Nothing really high scoring for me but a couple of nice bulls , both in Wyoming. Second bull was wounded when we came across him and I put him out of his misery.
Found a nice bull dead few years back and the GW allowed us to bring out and keep the head. That bull deserves some recognition .

I agree! That top right bull would get shot on most LQ hunts as well. With a longbow is awesome. I always wanted to do it but never felt like I had the time to invest to get good enough.

That might have just ruined her. If it happens again, you should just hang up your bow / guns and start filming her hunts.

LOL, that is awesome. Or terrible as she will never know the pain of elk hunters who waited years for their first bull with a bow...let alone a very nice 6 with a bow.

I guess I have to add my wife’s Co otc bull.

My wife had a similar first season but w a pre scouted bull. All the highs and lows of finding him after archery then him moving a few days before the season and my father relocating him.. She got him 30 min into the opener o her first elk hunt (she had killed a nice 165” buck) and has got bit by the big of big bulls ever since.
