The results were posted early, and I managed to draw two NR elk tags. Good timing as we just started buying hamburger in the grocery store for the first time in 20 years.

My son will be any elk hunting and i drew a type 6 cow. It will be his first elk hunt so he won't be picky at all. He has a medical condition that severely limits his mobility so it will be a different hunt than I'm used to but I still like our chances.
Looking forward to my first type 9 hunt in Wyoming this year! It will be a great experience.
I got a type 6 tag , it was my second choice but im happy i get to go hunting with some buddies
The only any elk youth tags left in the state are general and those without apr's....fyi.
Youth tags in areas with APR's are limited same as adult hunters, but can kill antlerless elk.

We plan to take advantage of the special youth season (2 days) not to far from you. He has some extreme physical limitations so if we aren't successful there, I'm hoping to get him on private to shoot a cow. First elk he doesn't care if it's a bull or cow...
Depending on how the draw shakes out, I'll probably be over that way as well. I know some spots that are pretty darn easy for that youth deal, hit me up.
