At least the hunter didn't get killed. The sow and cubs didn't fair well. We definitely need a grizzly season.

Even though I think some states need a season for grizzly, it’s still a crummy deal that the Cubs were euthanized. Just a bad deal all around

The grizz need to be hunted IMO. Not that will solve the whole problem but I think it would help.

The crappy part of these deals is that it is a result of ineffective management because of the endangered rules. Nobody wants to see them wiped out, but the more they expand unchecked the more conflict we will have.

I have seen many video’s like this and the thing that strikes me every time is the speed that they cover ground. One of the reasons as a flat lander, I avoid hunting in areas with grizzlies.

I was finally able to view the video. That bear had a broken leg? That guy was much braver than I would have been. lol

I watched the video and missed that. Sure looks like something is wrong with the paw or leg.

What was the ranger shooting him with? Not much recoil- looked and sounded weird. And the gun didn't make sound on his second shot? You can see what appears to be gas exiting the barrel but no report? Weird.

I figured it was a bean bag gun just to scare him away. He was shooting up in the air after the bear left for additional effect.
