Have they every been early? I?m kinda freaked about 900 more NR apps than last year!!!

I imagine the jump in fees caused a good number of people to jump off the points only bus and actually apply to try and get out of the points game. Will be interesting to see what the points only numbers are....

Here's one of the stories I've heard from a NR elk Hunter last year. 62 years old from Ohio, decided to try hunting, literally first tag ever was a NR General tag archery hunting. I thought good for you, but boy that's a tough first hunt. I know there's not lots of people just like this, but it sure seems like there's lots of people wanted to at least give it a try.
Side note, I do wonder how many anti's buy tags, just so someone else can't fill it.

Haven't read through this thread but got the email today from WY G&F. Elk results on Feb 22 @ 10 am. I can tell you from a lot of years of checking early, it will post EXACTLY at the time they said in the email.

You used to be able to backdoor refund checks though the state auditors website, but I haven't heard of any recent backdoors. No biggie, I've gotten more patient as I've gotten older.

That link worked for two in 2016 and 2017. I think it's dead because last year it would take you to the form page to enter your information. It does nothing now.
