ya I knew just trying to make something happen for him. It was going to be his first out of state hunt. Thought when the corona hit we would get to chase some turkeys out of state but that didn’t happen either. We did tear the crappie up when they were spawning so there is that.

My son and me both ended up with general deer, general elk, 3rd choice antelope, he got a cow elk tag that starts on August 15th so he can hunt before school starts, and 1 doe antelope tag. School probably won't start now anyway, but looking forward to spreading his first hunting season out.

it only took 11 years,but i finally drew non-res 89-1 deer tag,,,hope its good this year,,struck out on antelope doe type-6 though.ive been waiting a long time on this one.

Taking a newbie out on first western hunt. Should be an easy one to cut his teeth and see what he is made of,,,
I’m 1 for 3 on local partners. Last year met up with a former local who moved to Idaho last year and it went well. He was the first of 3 who was comfortable being uncomfortable.
