On a side note, I was coming home from Grand Junction on I-70 yesterday and spotted something black and dead along side of the road just west of Parachute. Right off I thought of a wolf. It looked twice the size of a dog but smaller than a bear. I really didn't think bear since after all, it's still February.
I called the Glenwood Springs CP&W office and reported it, and they were supposed to get back to me,ya right.
This area is to the north of Battlement Mesa where some of the released wolves have been spotted.
