I won?t renew after their support of the crossgun legislation shortcutting archery seasons. Too raw a nerve of mine.I started my membership back in the 70's and stopped in the early 80's and was back and forth for quite a while until about 2005. I then became a lifetime member a couple of years ago when they ran a special on it before all the dues wen't up.
On the junk mail, if I remember right there is a way to opt out of it but I can't remember just how you have to go about it to opt out of all of their mailings.
I agree with you 100%I have been a member since the 60's. Upgraded to Life in the 70's and Endowment Life in the 80's. Got my son a Life Membership on his 18th BD. Like AK, I don't always agree 100% with everything they say & do, but when it comes to 2nd Amendment issues, they are the only ones with enough clout to keep politicians honest.
So I'll be the first. I'm not.....too much money involved in that organization to do the right thing the first time all the time. I'm disappointed they are missing the current opportunity they have now to really do some good for America.
