I had to get a little ride in this morning, before i fired some one. an employee put our service truck in the ditch. the t post put a hole in the engine block, broke a motor mount ect. I am now shopping for a new service van. fun times.

This is one reason, business's need to make a profit. So it can go buy over priced vehichles.

I had to take Thursday off after my dermatologist appointment still dealing with my foot issue so finally got sent to the dermatologist specialist but the stuff they put on it is blistering and had to stay covered and dry for 24 hours. Might try the elliptical tonight if things don't hurt to much.

Ouch!!! Those spur of the moment stress relievers are a big help sometimes. I've often said that sweat is the greatest tranquilizer for the mind. I guess that adrenalin works too. Ride on.

Elliptical run weather conditions just weren't safe for a run. Roads were still snow covered and was still coming down.

Marcus, I’ve noticed a trend on your runs over the past several months. Like a lot of folks the 1st mile is the fastest. I’m assuming you run from home and you need to make circle to get back. So I’m going to eliminate the fact that you’re running down the hill away from the house and running uphill to get back in this could be the reason for the difference as there is no big decrease in pace on last mile. Perhaps lower your 1st mile down about 30 seconds and try to spread that energy over the entire run thus possibly bringing down your overall average pace. Just a thought from an Internet observer. 😂🤷‍♂️
Keep after it buddy!

Ill try that out yeah I have several different routes I can run lots of twisting and turning the city street right now as side walks are covered. Mile 2 does normally have a good sized hill in it that slows my pace down conditions aren't helping much with the snow cover or ice so towards the end my legs roached. Always willing to take advice bud

Running in the winter in the northern latitudes is more about maintaining fitness than improving. You have to be especially aware of the hazardous road conditions and the dangers from vehicles. A cop co-worker's wife was hit by a passing truck mirror (vehicle and driver were never found), and she had severe brain damage and never really recovered. My off road running options in the winter here in NE Minnesota don't exist other than cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Another consideration is cold induced asthma, but it looks like you wear a face mask to mitigate that (and frostbite). I eventually switched to other forms of excercising during the winter, but got back to running as soon as the weather improved. Hang in there Marcus, you're doing well....just be care-full out there.

Yeah I always wear the built in mask or a turtle fur for anything sub 35 degrees. I pick the lower traffic roads when I get on the road and always go at traffic so I can see whats coming my direction. Pretty much never run at night this time of year either. the road conditions qnd visibility are bad. We got side walks all over but some are to lazy to follow the ordnance to remove with in 12 hours. I do have elliptical if conditions call for it just pushing toward my yearly goal i set of 500 miles running outdoors and 500 on my new road bike.
