I coach 2 youth baseball teams and follow my older son's senior legion team.
I like your priorities!

Let's all start including our weigh-goals in these discussions, if that is applicable to you. With all of the exercise I've done in the last six months, I've only lost ten pounds - BUT - that is a complete reversal of the previous trend. I have to take a flight-physical every six months, so I want to lose 10 pounds every six months. I was 270 lbs last January, and now in July, I'm at 260. My ultimate goal is to get back down to 220 lbs. That won't, and shouldn't, happen over night.

Did the 2-mile walk this morning, and 20 minutes on the stationary bike today too. Just took two precautionary steps backwards away from the pantry...

My goal is 250 i was all the way down to 262 june 2017 which was a total loss of 98 pounds. Since then though i have gone on a horibble slide and im back to 313 only down 47 pounds from my starting point which was January 2016.

I have to shed weight to help eliminate additional wear and tear on my body. You guys know about the stair-FUBAR this year, but I also got injured in 2014, when a semi ran a red light and hit me on my motorcycle. I showed them - I survived. That was a hip-repair scenario.

While I use preparing for hunting season as the motivation to exercise, like Tim eluded to, this is a yearlong, every year, fight to stay healthy.

Cut down 8 trees at my house 3 years ago, and have been slowly splitting it all the last 2 year's. Finished splitting the last of it tonight, going to miss splitting wood by hand. Maybe I should tell the neighbors their trees look diseased and I need to cut them down lol!
Pretty good deal actually, I've been selling 1/4 cords delivered to the backyard fire enthusiast around Cheyenne for $75. Probably made around a grand off those trees, and have a cord left for myself.

I'm hanging out at225-230. Would like to hit 202 one time but thinking the 210-215 range is perfect for me. And I want to do some canoe/kayak races next year.

My dad does this as a side job. He cuts trees down for people for free as long has he gets the wood currently has to big projects that will take him a few year one wants 100 trees taken out the other is a golf course needs things cleared. Through out the season. He splits it all on a splitter his uncles made out of a galaxy 500 and runs off the motor. The back of the car is where the H beam and blade are.

He makes good money during the summer selling small racks and bundles to people for camping or back yard fires and the winter he has four clients that get wood from him by the cord for there wood burning stoves. He spends a lot of time doing it.

I was I had a couple acres behind my house. My friend owns a commercial tree removal company, he said he'd drop off all the burnable wood I could ever want for free. So I could have it really easy, but I just don't have the space to do it right now. A lot of money could be made drying, and splitting wood.

Monday

Man definitely sore now after the race yesterday and riding with the riding club tonight. Only 2 stops on the ride one was a quick stop to cross a main road and the second was a water break/getting the group bunched back up at the top of the biggest hill. Had fun though

Great! An hour riding with a group seems about just-right. It was the same way on motorcycles. Avoided big groups...

Trying a new speed workout in preparation for my half marathon in Columbus in October things are going well as of right now. I?d love to break through one more plateau before the race and that?s why am focusing on some speed work in an effort to hopefully shave 10 seconds per mile off. I know a lot of this is mental. I know that?s asking a lot but you gotta ask for lot to get a little right

If I ever draw an Idaho moose tag, I'll happily stop in, and I'll even bring my own splitting maul.

Six miles of walking via 12K steps today. Most of those steps were at the airport today while having lunch with one of the enemy combatants from a competing airline (my friend Joe). Did complete the 2-mile neighborhood walking tour this AM.
