Remind me not to walk the trail on weekends. The jackrabbit ridding his mountain bike too fast, and too close to me, nearly got introduced to a palm heel strike the second time...

Going to start the ball rolling on MON in an effort to get back to work. A few hoops to jump through.

Took the wife to the range today. She was using her Smith & Wesson Shield EZ in .380 Auto. She shot at 7 yards, with turning targets (3 sec edge, 3 sec face, 3 repeats). Those are her head shots and center mass shots. It was the first time she shot that gun.

My only contribution to the target is the small target on upper right is via my Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt.

Ha! The part that makes me a bit skittish, is she really likes to shoot the Remington 870, and there is one mounted via a gun vault in the master bedroom closet. I sleep with one eye open...

On the lighter side of fitness SOP today. Only 10K steps/5 miles. Got on the treadmill for 20 minutes, and avoided the much needed rain today.

bonecollector,
been on a week long float hunt. Camelback sells an insulated water bottle. it will keep your ice about 10 minutes longer. But the best way to carry a lot of water is a hydration pack. you can fill with ice cubes and than add water. I like Gatorade in the water bottle and water in the bladder.
