if you want to lose weight, create a stressful work project, don't eat during it and go like a mad man.
I can attest to this...
My leg is now healed 100%. Back is stuck at 90% so I continue to take it easy doing enough to stay active while working on minor home projects.

Made my primary care physician smile today. He said I've lost 14 pounds since the EMTs dropped me off at the ER last month. Our grocery bill has gone down too...

Looking forward to getting into hunting-shape as well.

Monday.

Walked down to the park in the evening with the family brought my basketball to shoot hoops. Did that about 30 mins then another guy showed up and asked to play one on one. Played about a half hour before going back home.

Also pushed mowed the yard 60 mins of work. Little bit different style cardio then my body's used to.

I am about to head out for a good torture session. Should be lots of fun...

Some days are easier than others to keep up the grind.

Only had this Fitbit contraption for four hours, but looks like it may prove beneficial. Considering I still have the brace on, and it is still locked, I am getting around okay. Even navigated the dreaded stairs a couple of times going downstairs to work on guns.

Thursday
Split wood with my dad for 3 hours in lou of my short run

Friday

30 mins on recumbent bike rolling hills setting. 9.8 miles

Race in the morning looks like rain. On a cross country track probably be slick with the mud

The goal for today was...

Walk 5000 steps
Climb 5 floors
Walk 3 miles
Be active for at least 15 minutes
Eat less calories than I burn

Boom

Wait till I get this dang leg brace off.
