speaking of cold, this is why I decided to take up ice hockey and rock climbing in a gym, can do it year round in comfort, both are indoors, so when it's 100 outside or -20, I can be inside working out.
To each their own, but I strongly enjoy sports and teams over, lifting weights or a treadmill.
It's been much easier for me to keep "playing" for my workouts vs. going to the gym and "working out"
When it's fun, it's much easier to keep doing IMO.
Just an idea/mention for those who have tried to get in shape and can't keep anything from sticking.
Try a team sport/activity, and if you don't love it, try another until you find one you love.
