Haven't done an update in a while on weight partly due to the fact ive been gone my last two weigh in days. But judging from random samples this week so far its looking like 280-281 range. This would put me up 20lbs from my low. Im still getting compliments on how much better i look(toning) even with weight gain.
Starting to get frustrated with the "scale" as its going the wrong way. Its been tough trying to stay positive lately.

Part of my issue is some old habits show up like eating before bed, or snacking on chips, eating closer to 2000 calories again instead of 1500.

Also think im light on water every day lately along with getting back to sleeping prop amount of time (hard with 15 month old a 3 year old)

I really just need to get refocused and back into my life style change.

Got 2 more races this fall im getting ready for

Took weekend off of working out. Friday i was traveling droping boys off at my parents.
Worked 10 hours Saturday, then drove to my brothers and went to his derby race where i helped him with the car and walked the fair.
Sunday worked on camper at my parents.

Weigh in was flat from 3 weeks ago 279.0. Really did well this past week on nutrition try and keep a focus on it this week

Well the wife and I did the last float trip of the summer. we floated the lower salmon. 4 nights, 5 days.
The second to last morning of the float I was looking across the salmon river and spotted 2 bulls on top of the ridge line. They where a couple of satellite bulls, but they locked horns for about 5 seconds. pretty cool and definitely got the juices going for fall. the bulls where in unit 13 across from the unit 11 line by deer creek. the last morning when I was on the snake river, I watched 7 rocky mountain bighorn ewes and calfs playing around.

there you go, go get them.

We are weaning calves now on the ranch so I'm getting in a few miles horseback each day, plus a lot of sorting horseback in the pen once they are gathered. Fun work. All the pastures with permanent pens built are done so now each group involves moving and setting up portable panels. We get them penned, sorted, loaded, and then load the panels and haul everything back to the ranch. Then it's running the calves through and vaccinating. I'm getting 12-18k steps per day not counting the ones the horse takes. My wife was gone on a work trip this week also so I was solo parenting which adds steps outside the work routine.

I didn't get a true work-out since Sunday so I did a T25 lower focus video tonight and then loaded pack step-ups while watching an Eastmans I had recorded. Tomorrow I'll do a T25 cardio video and then head out for a 3 mile hike with the 60lb pack. I leave for my hunt on Oct 7th so I'm going to back the pack weight down to 60lbs tomorrow and then maybe 50 after that. No sense straining something with the heavy weight this close to the hunt and not having time to heal I figure.

Definitely dont over load this close to the hunt. Try and get enough sleep each night to help your body rest and recover before the hunt

Friday

Rode recumbent bike 41 mins for 15 miles on cross training

Saturday
Did a run at 9pm to try and get the cooler temps was still 83 after being 93 most the day. First 2 miles was good then had to stop for water a stomach issue. Rested a min then could only get another half mile before i couldnt run with the stomach issue anymore.

Got my last two scheduled 5k's the next two weekends one on the 30th and another on the 8th. Got my pace back to a good level so would like to get a sub 27 time on one if not both races

Just to loosen up the muscle tonight a little before my race in the morning. Hoping it muscle dont bug me to much tomorrow
