I've been putting forth a lack-luster effort due to work schedule, holidays, hunting, etc. But none of this is an excuse for some of my recent eating habits. I started back on my old routine of working out and eating healthy again yesterday.
I plan to post more details of my workouts here going forward so as to motivate myself and perhaps others.

Slow Start, but a start:
Monday - Chest workout only. Flat Bench - worked up work sets of 5 sets of 5
Holiday's weren't to good to me food wise either. Getting back on track food wise now that work slowed some and holidays are behind us

Sorry Bonecollector no 15 miles today short on time tonight. Did 25 mins on the bike again tonight got 8.5 miles. If it stays ridiculously windy and cold as hell (neg windchills) i think it will be an elliptical run tommorrow.

I understand that life sometimes gets in the way. Still great that you're getting after it even with a shortage of time due to work, etc.
I set those goals to get you out of your normal routine. They should not be tough to reach, but maintaining them should spark some results. I believe you will soon fly by them. Sometimes it just takes a nudge to break through a plateau.
250lb will be in your future this year!

I agree i think having the new challenges will help and now having the workout bench and few weights and barbell will help by building more muscle. Now if i could lift the amounts you do id be happy. But got to watch my shoulder and with no spotter really dont want to over do it. Used to lift 3 times a week in high school when i played football. Probably could have matched you then lol.

Friday it was 4 degrees in evening so,,,
Tread-Wheel of Death: 6 miles @ 53:22
I plan to start increasing poundage next week and slowly increase mileage. September will be here before you know it!
Going out ML hunting tonight as I figure the deer will be moving onto the fields early due to cold weather.
