I think I've set of a goal of a half marathon around June. First run in a long time was last night, about 2 miles. Lungs didn't hurt today so I guess that's a start, but i was SLOW

Last night was only Biceps Traps:
EZ Curls: worked up to sets of 105 x 5 x 3. Followed by Hammer Curls and Bicep Pull-ups
Traps: 5 sets of 10 x 255

I'm going to challenge you to the following for the new year:

A: No run times less than 10 min/mi average pace
B: No cross-trainer sessions less than 15 miles (this can be accomplished in +15 more minutes)
C: Start to slowly increase your poundage during any weight training session. Not only will you get buff for the ladies, but building muscle will burn more calories too! :cool:

What do you say buddy?

C i hope will be easier if i get the workout bench i ask for for Christmas

B. are you saying get 15 miles on 30 mins or ride 15 miles in 45 mins? If its the later ill definitely take that on

B. Do a minimum of 15 miles going forward. My calculations say this should take roughly 15 more minutes.
Sounds good ill go for those.


Weight stuff is are to do mor weight do to the fact i only have the 30lb resistance bands and two 10 lb dumbells

So hows these challenges going to work. Like most weight lost or percentage of body weight lost ? And best overall pr time and weight or biggest increases? Just out of curiosity?

Thursday run



Sidewalks were a little more clear and i got to run with some day light but got slick as the sun went down and temps went back below freezing. Had one spot was pure sheet of ice almost fell but caught my self

Didnt get as long a ride as i wanted because i had a Christmas party to go to

Rode recumbent bike 35.5 mins on cross training setting got 12 miles

Hope everyone had a good christmas.

I took Saturday and sunday off from workouts.

Weighed in today monday was up to 273.6 so up 5 pounds from week plus ago holiday parties got the better of me. But back at it today hoping to go for a run nice warm 50 today.

Santa was good to me this year got a workout bench with leg curls on the end. Alot of cold weather running gear. And alot of new clothes to replace my old wardrobe.

2nd run towards my couch to half marathon goal. Slow, 2.55 miles at about 11:10 pace. I can tell my lungs aren't in shape, the cold hurts. I'll work towards catching marcus's pace
