That's gonna hurt you twice. First, when you do it, and second when you get up the next day!

Yeah, it could be brutal. My neighbors are gonna hate me flipping that thing in the alley an evening or two a week.

are you just going to just flip it or did I understand you are also going to wack it with a sledge?
Yup, going to smack it with a sledge hammer. 5 sets, 30 seconds apart. Our Gym here is Powell is always full and often my schedule doesn't work to go there. So I am slowly acquiring everything I need to work out well here at my house.

Scott next time your in Bend OR area look me up - I have got a fairly heavy maul and always have wood that needs to be split so you could feel right at home
Seriously I like the idea. I do have some old loader tires here on the farm and a sledge. May have to give that a try. My neighbor may come by to see what the hell I am doing though.....

I have seen it in the fitness mags for a while as a great core workout. I have done a lot of cable type stuff in the past that essentially uses the same motion, so I can see how this would be effective.

The real question is how sore am I going to be afterwards?

Well, the tire beating session went well, actually. Fun workout that breaks up the monotony of weights. I did 6 sets of 20 swings paired with 10 push-ups. Then I came inside and did shoulder work. Insanity for cardio tonight I think.

Went to try Title boxing today. It was fun until they pulled the sales pitch on me.

Well guys no earth shattering work out today BUT the next 3 days promise to be lung blasting leg burning cadrio of the third kind. I am heading to the Chukar hills of SE Oregon on the Nevada border. To hell with my treadmill!! This is the type of cardio I could/would do on a regular basis with a smile on my face!
