One of the best things I see in this thread is the consistent work ethic that is exhibited by Marcus in his quest to lose weight and become healthy. We all do it, but Marcus has started from such a deficit that most people simply quit or don't ever start. They die an early and often long enduring death after suffering many health disabilities such as diabetes, joint pain, gout, etc...
Congratulations Markus! Keep it up. I enjoy seeing your daily posts! You're going to be looking svelte for turkey season!
Thanks bonecollector definately wanting to get in the right shape to avoid some of those issues. My arms are feeling the workout today. Time to split wood for awhile

Marcus, just a thought to keep things mixed up in your workouts, try a superband. You can do a ton of exercises with it and it can go anywhere with you as it is only a few ounces. I suggest black or 1/2 inch depending on where you buy.

This is an excellent idea. I use them for warming up and also when I am on vacation and can't get gym access.

Is that same as a resistance band i own a resistance band with 30 lbs resistance. In my work out routine above the 30lbs sets are with the resistance band and i use it to stretch my feet and legs before exercising.

Today i spent today 3 hours stalking and splitting wood. The splitting was the easy part. My great uncles took a 60s car cut the back off and put a i beem with hydraulic system thay runs off the car motor will try and get a pic tommorrow to show you

Flipped the tire 150 times today in three rounds of my hub workout. I expect to be really sore tomorrow...

Doesn't help when KB swings are one of the spokes on the wheel.

Theres the picks of the splitter my great uncles made back in the 70s. Still runs awesome. Worked on splitting and stacking wood at my dads again today for 5 hours. And did 3 hours yesterday. Feeling sore from lifting all the big cookies on to the splitter

Some of what we split

This shows about half the pile that still needs cut to length then split. He has a lot more work ahead of him. And still more to take down

we went by, thru or played 20 mountain bowls today to get to the ridge I took this pic from. We went up and over 9 different ridges to get back here. Winter rules for covering lots of terrain in the mountains.

sundance lookout from the east, selkirks mountains of north Idaho.

Messed up my left shoulder blade. MD says no lifting, running, or bjj for a month. My job is pretty physical so I won't waste away. Shoulder is better half way in.

Word to the wise, don't ignore small injuries!

I should get back in my average of about 2-3 pounds once i get back to my normal work activity level and and back to being at home and preparing my own meals
