Retired from Alaska Wildlife troopers. Did the first half of my career running patrol boats and the second half as a fixed wing pilot.
Since retiring, have been a pilot for several part 135 operators, doing wildlife surveys and flying air-transport for hunters. Also fly for some hunting guide operations. I have also been involved in wildlife and fisheries management. Trying to stay retired now.

Owned my own accounting business at age 22.
Age 30, sold company and went to work in the auto industry as a "closer" for Ronald Reagan's financial advisor, David Stockman.
Mid to late 30's, went to work in the European auto industry as a Controller (powder metal specialties)
Wife was diagnosed with cancer so it was time to come home so I've spent the last 5 years as an SVP on acquisitions, mergers, legal, etc. for a rapidly growing Bank.

I have been in construction my entire adult life. First as a carpenter, and for the last 15 years as a tile setter. That all ends December 31 as I have been accepted into the Nursing program at one of our state universities.

Heavy Equipment operator for the largest Waste company in North America. Not the most glamorous job, but I'm on my 32nd year with this company, and have been in the industry my entire life as my grandfather started his business in the 30s. At 52 I'm looking to pull my pension in the next couple years and work part time and do some major hunting.

Happily retired. The best job I ever had. I spent my early career assembling ditching machines for farm drainage, then worked for the world's largest soap maker. I still came home dirty and greasy, but at least I smelled like soap. I always scoffed at retirees that said they were so busy they don't know how they ever had time to work. Now I can attest that they were right.

VERY COOL. You should post some pics in the plane. I'm jealous. I have a F-14 replica in my son's room on top of his dresser (as close as I'll get, LOL).

I am contracted with the US Navy and do work called Telemetry. Basically, we travel to remote sites or anywhere there is a US Navy base and collect missile data. Whether it be from a range on the coast or actually riding on a US Navy ship, such as a Destroyer, Cruiser or Carrier.
