He's 14" and not a contender for B&C.

It's extremely difficult to judge from that photo angle. Need other pics from different angles to better determine shape(length), mass, etc. Having said that he has decent prongs high on the horn putting them in the 3rd quarter for scoring which is a real plus. Best guess is 76-78". A real dandy and a trophy in most fellas eyes. He'd make a handsome mount and unless someone is an experienced "goat" hunter and won't settle for anything less than 80" it would be very difficult to let him walk. That and of course a lot would be considered where you're hunting. Are you in an area that is "premium" such as a Red Desert unit in Wyoming, or a special tag in the Southwest? If that is the case then you pass. None the less, he is a very good buck worthy of a spot on most everyones wall.

76 because of the good top mass and decent prongs, lower mass is just average, same with length...nice looking buck though!

Lower mass is what is stopping that buck from being a really good buck. Respectable, but if you are looking for book more mass is going o be needed.

Pictures 1 and 2 my score guess is 73. Picture 3 my guess is 76. I love the shape of the 3rd picture buck...he has a lot going for him.

A little weak in the mass department as far as B&C is concerned. They're probably in the 70"-75" range but both are nice mature bucks worth keeping tabs on for sure

Not sure where in Cali you are but if up by the northern Nv line this goat might surprise everyone as the goats around here tend to have bigger heads and longer ears (6 to 6.5 inches) then in Wy. making horns seem smaller.

That second buck could surprise you by being longer than you think. My wife got one with those tips that curl all the way down. We were off by 4" on her buck, in a good way, which is a bunch on a speedy goat. Both nice, but that second one would likely make most hunters very happy.
