2nd week I had my 09 Chevy diesel I took it up a four wheeler trail and got millions on scratches and didn't think twice.....then while elk hunting I slide off the road in a 6" quakie and dented the passenger fender pretty bad.....took a plunger and popped the big portion out and left the little ones for character.....most folks baby there trucks, mines for hunting!!All these new trucks are very nice and comfortable thats true. But what would any of you guys get in them with mud all over your boots
and blood all over your clothes from packing out an animal? I don't think so, you've spent 40-$60,000 on these vehicles so you're going
to treat them like delicate little babies. You wouldn't dare take them somewhere they might get a scatch on them either.
I'll avoid the pin stripes, but I'll get in mine covered in blood, mud & cow ****. For serious hunting a diesel is an old Indian phrase for "sinks like a rock" so there's usually a jeep and ranger on a float trailer behind it if I really need to get somewhere. All these new trucks are very nice and comfortable thats true.
