I have been buying points since Wy started selling them for NRs. I have 12 for deer and spent them all on a special deer tag for my favorite unit. Probably will be the last time for me to hunt deer in it as I'm 77 now and don't think I'll be able to accumulate enough to hunt it again. I also hunt antelope in the same place and been seeing some great buck deer. Also applied for a couple of antelope tags. Can't wait!!!

Best of luck on your draw.

Just a question? Not wishing any bad Karma. What happens to a persons points if they become unable to hunt or pass away?
Do you just forfeit them or can you pass them on to a family member.

I'm in the same boat as you CC, only I'm turning 68 in July. I'm going to burn my 6 deer points this year. I don't want to wait any more years to draw a super premium area, especially with all the point creek. I won't have all the better choices you have but I have my health for now but who knows for how much longer. I may do cow elk also. Unsure if I'll buy deer points in WY after this year, but will buy a few more antelope points for one last great hunt.
Good luck in the draw

I'll be happy to draw some of those type 2 doe antelope tags that open in Aug. and combine that with some fly fishing for a week or two. Going to retire this year so next year I may do that while building another antelope point. Lots of places in WY I haven't been to yet.

Good luck to all in the Draw.

Good Luck CC! Dad and I are headed to Wyoming in October for speed goats as well. Hoping for a 2nd choice draw so we can keep building PPs. Then off to Idaho for cow elk for a bit before getting the kiddos ready for Halloween. Good luck and shoot straight!

I'll also be hunting elk here in Colorado in late November during our 4th season.
