Perhaps lion hunters get a pass because, unlike shed hunting, killing lions is actually good for the deer and elk.
Once again, shows how little you know about lion hunters.

I bet less than 1 out of 10 cats they tree are killed.

Those that I know that chase lions with dogs train their dogs to leave other animals along and just go after the lions. The deer may run off some if they pass through a bunch but they are not chased.
They better also train the deer and elk to recognize their dogs aren't meaning them any harm when they run through herds of both.

I doubt a deer or elk sees a lion hound and thinks it going to do them no harm.

I suspect deer act less threatened with a guy walking through them than a pack of hounds racing through them...

I can't tell you how many hundreds of sheds I've picked up and never bumped a single elk or deer while doing so from February-June.

But then again, I suspect most don't savvy that...also the reason why elk and deer hunting success rates suck so bad.

Why the opposition, if you're so concerned about disturbance to not make closures to ALL human acitivity? Why give one user group a pass while condoning others? Selective bias?

Disturbance is disturbance, and the deer and elk don't understand the difference.

Still can’t communicate without arguing Buzz?
You try and sound smarter than everyone else but you don’t even know how to get along with others. Didn’t your kindergarten teacher show you how to get along with others? She probably did … you should try it and quit screwing up the forum.

So kidoggy says: "... anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool."
and
Buzz says: "This is common sense, but I guest that's tougher for some to comprehend."

You two sure make it hard to have a civil discussion and enjoy this Forum.
least we don't call names every other post.

don't pretend you want civil discussion. anytime anyone disagrees with you or your thought master colo cow you instantly post derogatory comments about them.

keep it up . your less then nothing to me.

my "anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool " comment is spot on.
any rational thinking person MUST see the truth of it .

hikers disrupt deer/elk.
four wheelers ,motorcyclists, snowmobilers disrupt deer/ elk.
as buzz said lion hunters disrupt deer /elk.

most any activity man does in the outdoors disrupts them.

why are you so eager to single only antler hunting out?

colo cow stated his reason is because people get money for it. not because it hurts animals but because people get money for it.
I get you are riled because I singled out your idol but his reason sounds like jealousy to me.

Oh Buzz,
You're very predictable ... more insults and arguing. It's how you respond to everyone, every time.
If you could learn how to make your point without being a condescending jerk all the time maybe folks would listen to what you have to say.
again .I find this hillatrious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is your go to move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

his post was well thought out and spot on.
a reasonable discussion that you claim you wish for but can't stand because you have nothing to add
you may not be the only one arguing but you are the only one doing so with zero rational thought.

WHY are you not banned? I would be for posting what you do.
again, hypothetical. you don't get banned because you always act the victim. while I on the other hand always point you out for exactly what you are. nothing!

because I am nothing if not honest this is likely to be my last post on this site before you get me banned again.

YOU are the reason no rational discussion can be had. you are not a rational person. you are a whining, sniveling lil crybaby, sack of shit coward and I truly do hope you and all of your spawn nothing, but the absolute worst life has for them.

speaking the truth of your worth ten thousand bans. and any site the truth of you can't be spoken, isn't worth frequenting.
I know probably too big a word for you. (visiting)
hopefully the mods take into account the truth off my words and ban you also!
lol. and my grammar is impeccable on this post!

peace out dudes!

I agree, Buzz often has good information in his posts, but my point is that he presents it in such a caustic and derogatory manner that it’s not well received. It would make the Forum a lot more enjoyable if he just changed his delivery.
I know you have been banned in the past but that was for posting crazy statements (kinda like the one above) … different from the point I was making.
However, once again your posts are typically childish, insulting, and contain no useful information. I have no advice for you since you can’t fix stupid. But if you’d like some advice, here’s a quote from Mark Twain that you might find useful…
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.”
I’m done now, as this isn’t helping the Forum either. So long…

I won't apologize for being too blunt, to the point, and not worried about fluffy adjectives in every one of my posts. Its odd how differently people interpret the message, and what they choose to "read" into comments, which is usually something not even there. IMO, too many people beat around the bush about what they're trying to say. Just say it, I'm not easily offended. I would rather people tell me what's on their mind than being worried about the delivery. I like direct, concise communications...we waste a lot of time, effort, and money worrying about the how, when the "what" in the message is all that we should care about.

Focus on the POINT, not the delivery, everyone's communication style is different. I'm inclined to be spare with written words, and yes, that comes across bluntly. So be it.
