unit 76 elk question

My buddies and I are getting ready for our 1st elk hunt this fall and after doing some research I like Unit 76. But it looks like the archery elk are not otc. Is that true? I feel like i need a masters degree to understand the colorado parks and wildlife site. Any helps appreciated guys

Unit 76 takes quite a few points to draw for archery or rifle in Colorado.

Took me 5 yrs to draw a tag for 76.

You cant even sniff unit 76 as a NR with 5 points

Last year it took 11 points to be in the draw pool as a non-resident for Colorado Unit 76 archery elk. If you are just starting out, byt the time you catch it may take 15 or so points.
