Any word on how many bull tags for residents? I haven't been able to call yet.
No, but since the non-resident tags went up, resident tags had to have gone up too. If there are 22 non-resident tags as DR said, there has to be around 100 resident tags. Your wife's number is less than half of that.

Stig87, she should be a shoe in for a tag. Everything I've heard the quota level should remain at the level it was last year. My wife drew a cow tag in 2009 but was unable to harvest a cow. It was 27% success that year due to adequate forage and lack of snow. We saw a lot of lone and paired bulls but the cows stayed in large herds. This is a great hunt and I'd be happy to point you in the direction of some areas that were productive. A good friend of mine killed a bull last year with his pistol. Congrats again on a great tag! Good Luck!

My brothers number for NR is 7 :D

Is the number 22 for sure for Non residents? To late to call the number tonight and my heart hasn't stopped racing for an hour :)

Going to hunt Antelope in Wyoming this year as well. My favorite state for sure.

They do not offer alternate tags or I would be taking a road trip with a billy club;)
They draw the ranking and if your one of the select people that drew a good number. You don't have to get the tag, you can call and say you can't hunt for whatever reason and they will move on to the next person in line.

It states in the regulations that if you get called to see if you want to pay for the bison tag, and you decline, that tag will go to the next person in line. Thats why it is called the priority list. The lowest numbers have priority to buy the tag before the higher numbers. Mayber this is just for residents and not NR.

This is my understanding of it as well.

A called g&f and talked to different people along with a few other inputs, that is not the case( I thought so as well) I did find in the regs that they can issue more tags if they feel it is necessary so I am praying for snow and a liberal biologist!
