I am so glad I took my rifle out shooting last night. It was so far off I thought I was messing up big time! It was zeroed @200 and I was hitting 1 foot below target at 100. ??? Not aure how it got off by so much but its sqaured away now.

Yep, my 300 wasn't on paper at 100 last year. I spent most of my time shooting my 6.5 Creedmoor. I spent a few weekends with the 300 before I went out for my bull tag. I was a bit paranoid after the first trip to the range.

Todd just set mine up, so I need to mess with it now to make some adjustments for fit to me.

I have vortex scopes, the caps that twist on to the turrents, can they twist the knobs as you tighten caps?? I dont think so but thats the only thing I can think messed it up. Unless a buddy thought it would be funny to gibe them several twists!

Yeah i have a vortex with capped turrets on the 300. Not sure what happened with it

I haven't had to touch my Leupold in many years but always spend time at the range weeks before a rifle hunt.
