I've been on the fence awhile regarding gaiters. Should I get a pair or not? Tell me why I should buy some or why I should save my money.

Even if there is no snow gaiters will keep your pants from getting wet if you walk through brush or tall grass after a rain, heavy frost or dew in the morning.personally worthless unless with snow, or you are trying to keep the seeds out of your socks on your low shoes.
I have heard many reasons to wear gaiters but ankle support is not one of them until now.Absolutely need them if you are hunting rough country. I have far less ankle and foot fatigue when I have mine on. The support they provide in ruff country and sidehilling make all the difference in the world. Also keep u dry and warm. No seeds either. Get some!
I agree. I have a pair but rarely wear them. They're good for the occasional deep snow here in Colorado but unnecessary most other times.I find gaiters to be hot and unnecessary in most conditions. However, I do use them when hunting on horseback or in the snow. So, depending on your hunts, I would buy a pair so that you have them when the situation calls for them....much like hiking poles.
