I know we havn't got it yet, but lots of people I know have already got plans for it. My wife and I are in pretty good shape financially and we discussed what we are going to do with our windfall. We decided to take a big chunk of it and donate it to our local food bank that provides food for folks in need. In today's conditions, there are lots of local people who could use help.

I plan on picking up a few thing and then some silver ingots when they come back onto the market.

My initial thought has been that I don't need it, so maybe split it and put it in my kids college funds.

Ours will be deposited into our savings account. We are fine right now financially and when the Government wants a bunch back for taxes I’ll just happily write a check for the full amount they gave me and give it back.
No plans on spending it.
