friday night outside, drinking a beer and i could hear this bull elk just talking. he was grunting, barking,chuckling. i listened to him for about 10 minutes, then thought i should grab the wife. she came outside for another 5 minutes, of him going off. He was cross the way, but only about 400 yards away. I am assuming it was the raghorn i had in my yard last fall.

Man its hard to get motivated here in Texas with this heat and humidity. Sad thing it is not even the hot season yet!!!!!

Not a great picture, but there's a cow moose in the center of the picture. My daughter, and I were out scouting out some glassing spots yesterday, and seen her. Here's a look at one of the spots I'll be sitting at this fall in hopes of finding my buddy his first mule deer.

I hope they get some of those fires contained soon. Colorado Cowboy may be in trouble with the fire near Durango, Co.

My brother is coming to Az.for vacation next week.Had plans for hiking and fishing the Mogollon Rim.Everything is shut down.No Fishin',No Fartin',No FN' around.Road to our cabin is restricted to locals only.Any ideas?Maybe Baseball game.Shooting Rock Squirrels and watch them burst into flames.
