My new home away from home!!! getting it setup for my antelope hunt. I got it from a hunter. Its been to Alaska, Kansas, Arizona, New Mexico, had a spotting scope set up on top of it. Should be all broke in for me! lol

I dont mind a tent if I know where Im hunting but I dont on this hunt and I want to stay mobile and not deal with a tent or sleep on the seat of my truck for a week or more so this seemed like the way to go. $500 well spent!!

Good thing it has a camper shell, you might end up sleeping on the side of the road while waiting on a tow truck. After all it is a Ford.

359,000 miles on it and hasnt been towed yet! How many are on your Chevy? lol

300k on the '94 ;one I've had since I was 16 and it has been towed once. Hitting a deer at 70mph will stop even a Chevy! 230k on my '01 and 170k on my '04 and both still going.

Hope that don't happen to you MM! It did me on my elk hunt this year, injector went out 8 hrs from home. 248,000 miles on mine. Messed up the last 3 days of my hunt and ended up costing me nearly $3000 total. Hurt like hell, still licking my wounds.

I really shouldn't have made the ford comment, it seems I jinxed myself. Front left hub bearing and 4wd accuator went out. All fixed now and ready to head out in the morning. It seems something always goes out right before a long trip. Could be worse; it could've went out during the trip!

Let me guess: your $500 rig performed flawlessly during your trip didn't it MM?

$500 was just the camper. I got more in the truck. it did get there and back with no issues. Turned 360K lastnight!There is an upgrade to replace your actuator. I think its called posi lock.

Still a good deal. Congrats on the goat and I'm glad everything went well. Hopefully my Chevy doesn't let me down. Just checked out the posi lock, wish I had gone that route.

Ford still sucks lol!
