Thats cuz you have dens with 500 rattlers in it in Texas. LOL
na, the timber rattlers are mostly found below flood plain and smell of the stagnant water and funky mud they're in. Plus whatever nasty little critter they're digesting. Half digested fox squirrel STANKS, btw!

these are those funky cottonmouths/moccasin/stubtail

Some places along the rivers here have them but I have never seen them up where I am.

Do the wild pigs eat them? 1 place by where I grew up in Ca had alot of them and they put a bunch of big pigs in there for a while and they really thinned them out.

We have lots of both...so not sure. They're supposed to eat them, but the one place where I could see 100 hogs/day also had more snakes than anywhere I'd ever seen. It was a lease with 60 other guys but I had that 1000 acres of snake habitat all to myself!

I went and saw the Eastman's Deer Tour setup yesterday and all I can say is WOW. Those animals sure are impressive in real life, the pics I looked at before hand don't do them justice.

Clearly you need more pigs to eat all the snakes;)

Got my bike back together today and rode about 4 cold miles! Wasnt planning on riding it but I should have known that would happen if I stared it. Im fine till I start it every year and then once it starts I just cant not ride it! Freeze my butt off first ride every year. Maybe gloves or leather or a helmet or something would help but that would be way to much planning! ;)

I'll say this, we had pet potbelly pigs growing up in Arkansas. Our neighbors always had Copperheads or Cottonmouths around their house. We had none. Never saw our pigs eating a snake, but I suppose they had something to do with it...
