I'm a former Marine, just finished 5 years active duty and now I'm out here to start school at UW, so I'll be in Laramie for a few years. I grew up huntin and fishin in AZ, I've hunted Elk, Mule deer, Couse deer, Turkey and various small game. I grew up mostly archery hunting but I took my first elk with a rifle last year, now that I have a family of my own filing the freezer is my big priority, but I wouldn't turn my nose up at a nice trophy
. I'm really excited to start hunting and fishing out here in Wyoming but I'm having a little trouble figuring out the draw system. Especially with regards to residents, a lot of the info I find on the Internet is geared toward non residents. So any insight from fellow WY residents (I.e. the difference between general tags and limited quota as far as residents are concerned) any links to other threads that can help a new wyoming resident get started are greatly appreciated. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
