Does anyone shoot a Mission bow? My wife is looking into the Mission Venture. Any opinions on the bow or advice for other brands? She needs a bow that has adjustment from 40 to 60 pounds. She hunts with 57 lbs and in the off season likes a little under 50 for relaxed shooting.

Take a look at the martin lineup. They are great bows and values. I know quite a few people who gave up their hoyt and mathews for one. They're worth a look and some of the lightest on the market

Grizz- Ya my wife shot the Jewel and fell in love with it. I told her we could get it for her because I enjoy her hunting and shooting competitive with me. But she does not want to purchase it because it is $1000 bucks. That's why we are searching other options. She wasnt to keen on the feel of the Vixen. But thanks for the advice.

beav906- we checked on the martins and we have not shot any of them yet. But we will see soon. thanks for the advice

I bought my son the Maniac from Mission, and it's a great bow. I would pick your price range, and then have her shoot as many bows as you can get your hands on. That will determine what she should shoot.

Thanks everyone! All your posts have given me good ideas where to look. We went bow shopping today and she ended up shooting a few and is still in love with the Mathews Jewel. It's one of those things that I better get it for her because I would want the same thing if I fell in love with the bow. Plus she was really acurate with it!
