Everything on my Ruku on the TV works with the exception of this.

I have slow Wind-stream internet ~2.7mbps.

Does anyone else have this problem with this program only. Pretty disappointment that we paid for this and it just plays for 5 seconds then says "Loading...." with a progress bar. I really wish this worked.

Any suggestions before I cancel my subscription to this??

Upgrading to faster internet is NOT an option for my area.

If it's a pure HD steam from MOTV, it could need up to 5.4 meg to stream. A standard definition channel only takes 1.5 meg, that's why the others work. Or they could just being having a bunch of problems right now with their internet steam.

Is there a setting to make it a standard definition channel stream from MOTV?

Thanks for the reply.

Its weird because my wife can watch whatever she wants on netflix with no issues whatsoever. When I go to watch MOTV it just freezes up and says downloading constantly.

Netflix has a back up standard definition version of almost all their content, that why it works. Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, and almost every other on line video content company has this currently today also, but in the near future you'll see more of HD available video only. In your case of limited bandwidth, you just don't get to watch it.

I just went to the MOTV page and it says they require 3 meg for a standard definition stream. Not sure why they need so much, Netflix, Amazon, and all the other Billion dollar on line content providers are using 1.5 meg standard definition.

Just to say you tried it, you could delete the tile from your Roku, re-download it, then see if it'll play.

My ESPN app on Roku is pretty similar. It starts skipping and jumping a bunch and no other app will do that... even fox sports watching a similar broadcast in HD. I've gotten to where I will restart the Roku and that usually helps. Not sure why, but it worked last night for the Rockies and Cubs game as well as some football last week.
