They actually aren't attached to anything and it is a mold around the skull that I make using cheap auto body filler. I cut the horns off the skull, drill a hole through the skull plate, slide a bolt through it, and then using the body filler, I begin to make the mold like you see. It takes a fair number of applications. You have to put some on, then sand it smooth, put some more on, sand it, etc. Then when you have it shaped how you want it and it is smooth, just prime it, spray paint it, and super glue a small piece of rope around the base of the horns. Then with that bolt sticking out the back of it(a half inch is about right), you can attach it to a panel.What are the horns mounted to? The pics make it look like some type of shiny plastic or rock?
It takes a little bit of time to do but I think it is kind of a unique look and not something that you see very often.
