Ended up walking into a bind Saturday afternoon. I got between him and the does he was interested in while I was walking back to the truck and I shot him in self-defense after he closed the distance from 100yds down to less than 30 trying to figure out why I was so close to his women.

Thank y'all. It was an eventful hunt and he was the icing on the cake. I passed him up last year during archery season hoping he would do something special & he did on one side. The weak side has that cool factor with a 7" circumference measurement.

Thank you. He's the top guy for our area and doesn't let anyone else touch his work in his shop so 18 months isn't too bad as swamped as he is. He might get to keep my muley a while longer because I really don't have a place to put it.

Shoot I thought it was 8 months... Missed the date. Still a great mount. Worth waiting for.
