Interesting side note: Before the fire, we ran into the guy (and his guide) who purchased the Governor's moose tag. We later found on the Internet that he paid $37,500 for it. He could hunt almost anywhere in the state with that tag, but he chose the Snowies. Gives you some idea how coveted a Snowy range moose tag is. Hope he got a good moose...but haven't heard.

You mean purchased one of the five Governors tags. Last I heard, if its the same guy, no they didn't get one yet.

Super tag bull is down and I know a guy guiding a governor's tag hunter in Nov.
You might just get to hunt in Nov if the weather will help out the firefighters.

That sucks I think a refund should be given. I know the guy that had the governors tag he's from PA. He filled his tag with a 130 class bull with his bow. Good luck!
