Independence Ranch hog hunt.

So apparently I won an Independence Ranch hog hunt. I remember putting my name in for such a drawing on the assumption that I wouldn't win. But now that I've actually been drawed I'm wondering if any one knows anything about these guys. I mean they have a nice website but that dont say much.

Is it a scam?
Is it worth the fees that aren't included in the thing?
What else do I need to know?

Look at whatever you have in your hands and see if you have to pay any extra for the little things. A lot of these outfits make their money in the little surcharges such as skinning, butchering, and other things.

A friend won one of these types of hunts and found out it would cost way too much to even think of going on it.

I'm not saying that this place is like that but you do need to find out if there are charges that are not included in what you won

There is plenty of info out there on the net about these guys- most positive but a little negative. If you don't want to go, give the ranch a call to see if it can be transferred. If so, you could sell your hunt at a discounted rate to someone that does want to go.
