Stressed over the decision for a couple months, ended up not burning any points. Hoping to go mule deer hunting with a bunch of my brothers and buying a leftover type 6 elk tag.

Still building up points for a general draw, and am at least one more year out. I did apply for a type 6 tag that have drawn 2 out of the last 4 years. I used my deer points this year, and unless I move to WY, may never get to do that hunt again.

I have drawn a unit 16 & a unit 51 elk tag & am building some points again. I only have 3 points & applied for a unit that takes 9 points to draw so I'm not expecting a tag.
