Thanks! We really work on it. Usually take 50 to 100 pics from various angles. The goal is one or two great ones. unfortunately I got just a bit of my shadow it this pic, which was one of the best.

I'm not a member and I agree that you usually have great pictures. I need to put more time into them like you do. I find myself looking at pictures of past hunts reliving the memories prior to hunting season wishing I had more pictures or better pictures from the trips. Good luck to you and your wife!

Thanks tdcour. Yeah, I have found that I probably get more long term enjoyment from good pictures, than most anything else, including having animals mounted. I love to look back at the pics and relive the memories. Also with smart phones, its fun to carry around the pics and share them with my buddies. We usually devote at least half an hour to photos, but they last a lifetime.

I really regret not taking our time on my buck this year. It always seems like who ever I'm with just gets in a big hurry, even my dad. From now on those that are with me can take their time or head out without me and I will do it myself!

Yes. Not to jack UH's thread, but my interests just really didn't align with the mag. Too many high dollar outfitter hunts, not enough DYI hunts.
