How do you carry your range finder?

I keep my rangefinder in a pouch on the belt of my backpack, and I have another pouch for my GPS. Works great. If I need my rangefinder the critter is far enough away that I can easily access my rangefinder.

The most comfortable spot I have for mine is on the dash of my pickup:) Easily within reach and convenient for those grueling coyote and prairie dog road hunts.

Outstanding Hilltop! I use the S4 retractable lanyard and the S4 bino harness and nothing is in the way of shooting my bow.

When bow hunting, I carry my Leupold rangefinder in it's small carry case on my belt on the right side.

The lanyard that comes with it is looped to the bottom of my bino harness strap.

This setup allows me to quickly range something and then just drop it to my side and shoot without concern for the RF banging

into stuff or getting lost.

I shoot my bow with this setup on all the time and it doesn't interfere with the shot.

Just got this rig in the mail, will be perfect for bow hunting, thanks to Colorado for the recommendation!

I must admit, I saw a guy at a dancehall using something like that as a beer holster not too long ago.

I usually will keep it in a pouch on a vest or on my pack. The majority of the time I'm not hunting alone so upon making the stalk the RF gets handed to the person there for moral support, they also get to carry the spotting scope and tripod.

This year I'm trying something a little different. I have a belt pouch and I'll use it until I'm in close quarters.

I tied a two foot shock cord (small bungee) to each d ring on my neoprene case (holding leica 900).

I have experimented a little with putting it around my neck then just dropping it over my shoulder when ready to draw.
It ends up right between my shoulder blades, out of the way.
I think this will work well, and keep it clear of any bow string interference, if it doesn't you may not hear from me after WY Archery:eek:

I rigged a retractable lanyard and clip it to the loop on my sitka bino harness. Works extremely well and super cheap. (The lanyard was like 3bucks at the hardware store)

Sent from NSA wire tapped device.

Over the course of the last couple weeks, I lost my rangefinder twice in the field. Both times I pulled it out of my pocket to use and laid it on the ground and left it. Luckily, I was able to go back to the spots and find it in both cases, but I've since just started attaching it to the strap on my bino harness and carrying in my pants pocket. This is the same way I carried it before except it's attached to me now and I can't leave it somewhere in the heat of the moment.
